Akshat's journey into wedding planning began in Jaipur — a city where every fort, palace, and haveli tells a love story. Growing up surrounded by the grandeur of Rajasthan's royal heritage, he developed an instinctive understanding of how space, ceremony, and culture come together to create unforgettable moments.

After completing his training in event management, Akshat spent several years working with luxury hospitality groups across Rajasthan, learning the intricate logistics of large-scale events at heritage properties. In 2007, he founded Vivaah India — initially focused on domestic weddings, but quickly recognised as the go-to planner for NRI families seeking a trusted partner on the ground in India.

Today, Vivaah India plans weddings across 30+ destinations — from the desert forts of Jaisalmer to the backwater houseboats of Kerala — with a team of specialists who share Akshat's commitment to flawless execution and deeply personal service.

For NRI couples, Akshat's greatest strength is his ability to bridge two worlds: honouring the traditions and expectations of Indian families while accommodating the practical realities of planning from abroad. He and his team handle everything — venue selection, vendor negotiations, legal documentation, guest logistics, and on-the-day coordination — so families can be fully present for every moment.
